    Hello all

This is my situation. I am planning to trade my verizon iphone 5 tomorrow with someone for an att version. I currently have straight talk with att service so it will work better.

Now, the other party is planning to leave att and switch to simple mobile , thus needing an unlocked iphone, which mine is. He said someone is taking over his att line and hes getting a new number.

My question is, will he iphone 5 from att be black listed/unusable if he switches out of his contract?

    Thanks in advance

I would think your best bet would be to meet at an att store to complete the trade. You can ask the questions and make sure the trade goes smoothly. Personally I believe as long as att allows accounts to be switched then the terms of that contract are still being fulfilled and the phone should not be blacklisted.
