Since the launch of Pokemon Go, Nintendo shares have doubled, according to BBC. The augmented-reality game developed by Niantic has also arguably made Nintendo and The Pokemon Company more relavant than they have been in the last few years.

The BBC reports that Nintendo's market capitalization has now topped that of electronics giant, Sony. Nintendo's overall market value is now at 4.36 trillion yen, or $38 billion. While Sony topped at 300 billion this morning.

Pokemon Go is doing wonders to people's lives by getting folks to go outside and get a bit of exercise. The game is loads of fun, just remember to look out for your surroundings!

Happy hunting!
