Nike + iPod app sensor?

I've been trying to use the Nike+iPod app that came with my iPhone4 but cannot get past the "walk around to activate your sensor" message. There is no Calibrate button to press, just the screen that came up with the voice message. Do I have a bad sensor or must I buy an accessory? The iOS is 4.3.3 Thanks, ~Mike

Short answer - buy the Nike shoes and sensor (use factory app) or buy the Nike+GPS app (no sensor needed). Thanks Apple for the useless app I cannot remove!
