iPhone 7s CAD drawings leak.JPG

TechnoBuffalo has obtained exclusive CAD images of the forthcoming iPhone 7s and 7s Plus via a source that it says is “close to the manufacturing process.” If accurate, the images give a very good idea of the new iPhones’ key features.

First off, the images show that not much has changed about the new iPhone 7s models as far as the overall design is concerned, pretty much everything is the same as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, with the same camera layout and button layout.

Interestingly, the CAD images show that the haptic home button and Touch ID sensor remains in the same position as usual, at the bottom of the phone and not located on the rear of the phone. Both phones will also both have the same LCD panels as previously, unlike the iPhone 8, which will be the first iPhone to have an OLED display. Both the display and bezels are the same dimensions as previously.

However, among the changes that are confirmed by the CAD images, should they prove to be genuine, is the new glass back, with the front and back panels fused by a metal frame, a design that could be said to be similar to the iPhone 4. The glass back also makes it almost a certainty that the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will also support wireless charging.
