I searched and found some related problems but none that were close enough to mine. I replaced the dock connector port on a ip4 due to the mic not working, with the new dock installed, everything works fine except the phone wont charge while its on?? I triple checked that all the connections were properly secure and also did a hard reset, but to no avail? I'm thinking I either need to do a restore on the phone or the part might be defective? Please help thanks allot!!
