Need some help with some wifi setting

Ok I will try to explain this the best I can

My brother has a iPhone 4S updated to 6.0

iMessage can only be used with wifi on.
As well as
To read group emails or text or recurve texts with pics

Then he must turn off his wifi to do the Following.
To check voice mail

But I do know his wife and him use the same apple ID so thy only have to buy apps one and have them work on the 2 phones

Nvm 6.0.1 seemed to fix his problem
Can a mod delete my post seeing its not needed any more
