Music iTunes library

My entire library has duplicated itself. Can anyone clue me in on why and how to correct this and why/how it happened? Thanx

In iTunes, right click on any song in your library and choose "Show in Finder" from the drop down menu, and report back if you see the song twice in this folder.

Don’t have the option “show in finder”
