Microsoft has just decided to roll out the iOS game called Kinetcimals for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, all in one shot. So now, if your in need of furry little friend to care for during this extremely long and cold season, you have the opportunity to do so.

Microsoft also released an app for SkyDrive, its very own cloud based storage service, where users can upload files that can be then accessed from any device including smartphones.

Kinectimals is full of challenges for you to share with your cub. You can teach it tricks like sitting or jumping and playing games with it. As you win the challenges that show up, you earn coins you can spend on buying new stuff for your little baby. Buy toys, yummier food or arrange trips and change the current location. The game graphics aren’t too bad, in fact they resemble a lot the quality of the graphics Xbox 360 might be used to, if they played the game in there. Kids will certainly love it, and it might even turn out a great substitute for real pets.

You can now visit the island of Lemuria and play with, care for and adopt you very own little cub. And won’t have to worry about forgetting about your pet, you can take him whenever you go. If you already played Kinectimals on Kinect for Xbox 360, you can now unlock with your phone five new cubs for you console. The game is 178MB and is compatible with iPhone 3GS and above. You can grab it for $2.99.
