Messages in ipod

Hi I've just updated mine and my husbands iPhone 4 fine. But I now updated my daughters iTouch (same account) and it shows a message icon in her display which she obviously can't use as its not a phone! It won't let us delete it! Any ideas?

It's iMessage. She will be able to send texts via wifi to another iOS device. You can register an email address via the settings...
