Looking for a travel app

I'm looking for a travel app that will give me interesting spots to visit as I'm traveling from one area to another (multi-state). In order to keep the trip interesting. But I'm not able to find any related online anywhere. Some apps help me find a specific destination, but I don't have anything specific in mind; I just want some recommendations related to where I happen to be driving at the moment.

There's an app called Zagat To Go.. it's a bit pricey, but maybe it will be worth the money if you travel alot!
