Locking display on 4s?

Is it possible to lock the 4s display into portrait mode?

Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen to bring up the control centre, then tap the lock button so it illuminates, to lock the screen in portrait mode. Tap the button again to release the lock.

Whats OS on your IP4s? My device up on 7.x.x OS make it slow and lag
