Late emails

When i get emails they come first as notifications (which i usually miss) and don't appear in my yahoo email account until later. Is there a way of getting my emails to appear in my email account as soon as they come through like they did on my iPhone 7.

Under Mail Settings you can set your Yahoo Account to Fetch every fifteen minutes. Push isn’t available for Yahoo.

This happens to me with Gmail set to push, sometimes I won’t get a notification and the emails can be anywhere from 15 minuets to a few hours late from time of sent. Happens on both cell and WiFi. But sometimes they will come instantly.

Same here, on my Macbook they appear almost as soon as sent but on my iPhone the can appear about 20 minutes after that.
