Itunes error

Does any one kno why I get error 11 when I try to downgrade from 4.2.10 it gets all the way to the end of the restore process then fails with error msg 11

Because you just can't downgrade by this time. iTunes doesn't allow it nowadays. You better stay with your current iOS and forget about downgrading.

I read somewhere that I can if I downgrade itunes
