Is this phone worth getting?

i have the 6s, I’ve had it from it first coming out. Still works fine battery not as good but would be expected. I’m thinking if the iPhone x is worth getting. Ok it’s newer than all rest but it’s near enough £1000 on pay as you go which I’m on. Does it do anything more than the 6s also what does the 8 do that 6s doesn’t. I like the x full screen but not exactly worth spending £1000 on.

In my case I didn't think the £1,000 price tag acceptable, At first it was just the price tag but now I'm glad I went for the 8 Plus.
