Is my screen okay?

my dad’s dog knocked my phone out of my hand down it went on the gravel driveway. I got the screen protector from Walmart so I’m just worried that it cracked the phone screen. It put an hairline crack and the corner of the screen protector is kinda coming up and scraped. I can’t get a new one cuz my mom has to wait until she gets paid or next month cuz of her CRV payment. I’m I okay? Is my screen okay? My question is is that did the screen protector do it’s job to prevent the phone screen cracking?

Update. I got a new screen protector and Verizon guy said that reg it online and then it will be only $5 to get and ship then the Verizon guy will put it on. The guy said that their protector is better then Walmart that I had on my phone.
