9to5 Mac reports that Apple has just announced that the iPhone X will be available in 13 more countries from November 24, which will bring the total of countries where the phone is available to purchase to 70, with more to be announced soon.

The 13 new countries that will be getting the “future of the smartphone,” as Apple puts it in the press release, on Friday, November 24, are Albania, Bosnia, Cambodia, Kosovo, Macau, Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, Serbia, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, and Turkey.

Meanwhile, while Apple has yet to release first weekend sales figures for the iPhone X, aside from Tim Cook saying that sales are “off the charts,” Mashable reports that according to figures from Localytics, iPhone X is already beating the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus first weekend engagement figures, with Localytics stating that “Apple’s risk in introducing a higher priced model seems to be paying off.”
