I visited Windsor in 2014 in late August. It was quite crowded.

It often is very crowded, and this May, with the royal wedding is going to be even worse. We are able to pick our times and, after a short drive, it gives a pleasant walk to Windsor passed the old buildings of Eton.

I did enjoy it but I wish I could have spent more time there. I did take the tour to the top of the Round Tower, which gave a wonderful view of the area, including Eton across the river.

A few photos with my ‘8 when visiting the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, London yesterday. All photos resized, as some were above 6Mb.

Lots of amazing plants, etc. in the Temperate House. This one caught my eye. Look at the leaves: one side is smooth, the other is a sawtooth.
