IPhone 4s Tetherme and verizon

I just jailbroke my phone for the first time. I have purchased TetherMe for free hotspot reasons. The part I do not like is the interface is identical to the hotspot interface via verizon with added cost. I have the unlimited data and do not want to mess this up. I was looking to see if anyone has used this application and have been notified by big red? My plan is no heavy use just for my iPad. Thanks

This is exactly how I use mine. Tethering my iPad and no problems with red yet.

There'll still be detection after a while, even if it's just sparse usage. The best thing to do would be to call up VZW and have them open up the tethering port for you. Many reps will keep it open for free without the $20 data plan after seeing your grandfathered unlimited data plan.
