iPhone 4S Not Sending Email or Messages on Wi-Fi or on Cellular at HOME

Or whatever reason, in the past few days, my iPhone has stopped being able to send/receive emails or send messages when I am at home, yet it can get onto the Internet just fine. Is there a setting that needs to be changed?

Common problem this seanandrews. Couple of options.

1) do a hard reset. That's hold down the home and lock button for 10 seconds until the apple logo appears then let go. Once reset see if your emails are now working again.

2) go to mail contacts calendars in settings go into email account and delete. Turn the phone on and off go back into email settings and recreate your email account. It should now be working again.
