iphone 4s and wifi

well i recieved my new 4s today and it connects to my wifi and has the tick beside it under the settings tab but it isnt actually using my wifi

its not being detected on my router

any ideas guys?

Turn your router off then back on again after 10 seconds see if it connects then

Check the user mannual that you have got with it. Besides that try this

Just go to Settings >> connectivity >> wi-fi settings.

If it still does not work, search some video on You tube.
