Don't use t-mobile with your iPhone.

I use T-Mobile with my iPhone 4, I don't use Facetime, but I did get SMS working.

You iPhone needs to be Jailbroken to fix these issues. I used Redsn0w.

First Method, if you only want SMS work(like me):

First Jailbreak your iPhone with Redsn0w. Next, follow the instructions on this page: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-2383

Next, open Cydia on your iPhone. Search for, "

MMS fix for iPhone 4." Outlined here: ​

Reboot the phone and SMS should work.

Now, if you want Facetime, you must Jailbreak as well. Follow the T-Mobile APN page above, but do not install the Cydia package. You need a different one.

so that's the only way, I don't want to jailbreak my phn, won't that slow the phn down...

Jailbreaking my iPhone hasn't slowed it down. I used redsn0w.

ok I went to the support.t-mobile page n fixed my settings and now I can receive mms messages + I didn't jailbreak my phn

You must have a factory unlocked iPhone.
