ios backup from icloud storage

how to get my old storage "camera roll" back to iphone ?... ..since it says its there..
itunes backup didnt work for me..

If you wish to get back photos that were contained in a backup, you'll have to erase the iPhone and then set it up from an iCloud backup, because it looks like they are backed up by your device.

To erase it, disable Find my iPhone, then go to Settings - General - Reset, and select "Erase all Content and Settings".
