iOS users have been praying that Apple integrate the single call deletion feature in its iOS ever since iPhone 2G was launched. Well, it seems that Apple (or the golden fish) has taken into account their preferences when designing the new iOS and integrated this long-awaited option in the upcoming operating system.

The Phone app now has an Edit button on the upper right side of the screen which opens another button for every call. That button allows users to delete whatever call they want from the call log. By pressing it, another button pops up which deletes the phone call entry. To put it differently, users need to press three different buttons to delete a phone call.

The previous call deletion function has been kept and users can still delete the whole call log. This feature can be activated by pressing the Clear button placed on the upper left side of the screen. Cydia has been offering a bunch of tweaks that let iOS users delete single calls but Apple has finally integrated this option in the core of the iOS.

All these Cydia tweaks run on jailbroken iOS gadgets. Almost all handsets available on the market have a feature enabling single call deletion but unfortunately it took Apple five years to implement it on their smartphones. Refusing to integrate the feature was a wrong move from Apple because it gave users one more reason to jailbreak their devices. It was high time that Apple offered this all too common feature to its users.

They finally decide to wake up and catch up. That's good for us.

I didn't even notice this! Lol. Thanks dan for the tip.

More cydia tweaks bite the dust then...
