iMessage not working

Hi, I am a new to these forums. I've noticed today that my iMessage service does not appear to be working. I've tested it with 3 friends that also use iMessage. I'm wondering is it just in Ireland or am I and my friends doing something wrong. I've tried disabling the service and restarting it. I've tried switching phone on and off. There are no updates available for iTunes or iPhone. Any help most welcome!

Sorry but this is now resolved. Seemed to have to just synch the iPhone to pc. A safari security update apparently!
