i download a app on my phone &it shows up on my ipad .how 2 turn off

if i download an app on my iphone it shows up on my wifes ipad . how do i stop this?

On her iPad, disable Automatic Downloads for apps in Settings - General - iTunes & App Store.

Or if she is the one who uses the IPad, then she should get separate Apple ID , and sign on in ICloud with hers ID, and it won't do that anymore, just remember to remove the device from your iCloud account.
