How to make a new Ringtone for my iPhone?

I pretty disappointed from the annoying default iphone ringtones ...
why it's so complicated to put a ringtone from myself on the phone,

please,someone can help and explain - How to make a ringtone?
I have to use in Itunes for that?
{p.s I dont have songs on my phone}

You really don't have to. There is a site where you can download ringtones ready-to-go (.m4r). Select your iPhone model in the upper-right corner, then search/browse, click play-button to hear, (suggest) [Ctrl]-right-click to select and go to download page. Then you can drag-drop each download file into your iTunes play-list. Note they will seem to disappear but they go to your ringtones page.
