How to delete custom ringtones?

I've got 7 custom ringtones on my phone and having trouble adding any more...so how do you delete them?? Is it possible?

How did you get them to the phone? Do the same proccess to remove them from the phone. If you used iTunes, connect your phone to iTunes and on the ringtone tab, uncheck the ringtones you do not want and sync your phone.

Duh...so you can't do it from phone only...ok...yes Imadope!

So I went in and deleted a ringtone and it worked. My problem is that I can't get ringtones added --seems like it's not syncing. I don't want to go to ringtones tab in itunes and hit 'sync ringtones' because it says all my other songs/movies, etc will be removed. I'm just hitting the sync button at bottom right on page. And I can't check 'selected ringtones' box, as it's all grayed out.

You first need to have the ringtone in your iTunes library, if the ringtone is on your desktop, try playing it using iTunes, it will then get added to your iTunes. Once the ringtone is in your iTunes library, you will be able to sync it to your computer.
