I know this is pure speculation but I want to know you opinion.

I know when the iPhone 4 came out it was priced at $199.00 for the 16GB version, $299.00 for the 32GB version, and the price of the 3GS went to $99.00.

Do you expect the same for the iPhone 5? Will the iPhone 4 go to $99.00?

Sorry if this is major dupeage but I didn't see any similar posts.

in the uk and other countries apple stores that had the iphone factory unlocked the phone was around 800+ euros and i paid 600 uk pounds for mine 32GB so i expect very similar prices for the 5, hopefully cheaper as if i decide i want the phone i will sell my iphone 4 and i can only get around 300 for it so hopefully apple will make it cheaper lol

$200 for an iPhone? I hope that's on contract. Lol. Like unleashed said they were around £600 (close to $1000) in the UK.

I think the 5 will be over £500 from apple...

that is contract yes to ATT that seemed to be a popular choice this year for every one to buy from there and then rely on unlock tools. Now also with Verizon as you know at the same prices and ATT do unlocks now also for their customers or sim free devices

Yes, the $199.00 & $299.00 USD is for new users with a 2 year contract. The unlocked phones are $649.00 and $749.00 USD.

So do you think the models are going to be 16GB iPhone4, 32GB & 64GB iPhone 5 at $99.00, $199.00, $299.00 USD respectively?

I believe the 16gb will come at 199, 32gb $299 and the 64gb it comes that high $399

No, i believe it will only be 32 and 64.

I'm with you on this one. $199.00 for a 32gb on a 2 year contract, $299.00 for a 64gb on a 2 year contract. That'd be good for marketing. More storage on a new device for the same price the iPhone 4 sold at with half the storage. I can see the iPhone 4 being $99.00 for the first six months after iPhone 5's release then $49.00 after the first six months. That's just my humble opinion though :)!

You should manage a 380 quid for a factory unlocked 32GB. I fix them for people and buy broken iPhones and sell them on once repaired. if i were you i'd not take less then £350 though and thats my idea basically once the iPhone 5 appears although awaiting to see what issues it has if any when it is released
