Anyone know how long it will take to update to iOS5?? Thanks
Depending on your Internet connection I would say about 15-20 minutes to install the actual ispw.
The official Apple popup said to plan on about 1 hour total between download and install.
I assume the install might take the most time.
just installed it over cable modem connection. Took about 45 minutes to download and install.
Last part of the download is taking forever lol I'm at 741.4mb
How long did the install take?
Mine timed out. I was over half way through the software download. It said it would take about 45 minutes for that part. I'm not sure how long the install would take or if the 45 minutes was for download and install.
download was 16 minutes here on cable cant speak for the install its still going, restoring.... cancel that it just finished... started at roughly 1:50pm finished and using phone at 2:13pm
Wow. Maybe I started at a bad time. I have dsl so it's not terribly slow but it timed out. It was saying 45 minutes when I started and timed out with 26 minutes left.
im waiting for the back up to be done lol
ok here we go....
Same here its going verry slow for me too with DSL.
I started at 1:06 and got to 754 mb and it timed out at 2:03. Trying again now ,it's at 683 now. First time said 10 mins.
i keep getting error 3200? wth!
*evil cackle* I downloaded it over a dedicated gigabit connection. The download was less than a minute.
Sent from my iPhone 4 using Tapatalk.
I got the 3200 error too! The backup takes over an hour.
My phone is jail broken (Verizon), If I decide to upgrade to ios 5 is there anything special I would have to do prior to installing it? Not sure if i'm going to do it just wondering?
I got the error as well after 2hours of download then failed during back up!! Gutted
