how can I recover music from my iphone

I got a new laptop and I need to restore my music from my old iphone. When I hook up the iphone to my computer I can't find my music. Is there any way to do this?

Why don't you try to transfer your music from your old computer to your new computer? That could be much easier to do, but if you insist then look for diskAid on Internet, it will help you to retrieve music from your iPhone to your computer.

Hi emilyg, are you using a mac or a pc? If you have a mac I have used a program called iRip which is made by thelittleappfactory.com.

If you have a PC, then I suggest a program called GizmoRip which you can find at GizmoRip - Restore music from your iPod, iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch back to iTunes. Either of these apps will allow you to copy your files directly from your iphone back to your computer.
