Well-known Apple leaker Sonny Dickson has just posted some interesting photos that reveal the lengths that Apple goes to in order to hide iPhone prototypes from prying eyes when testing them out in the wild.

One set of pictures shows the “stealth” case that is used to transport iPhone prototypes around the world. Most of the phone is hidden from view, and the case is fastened with security tape which would show if anyone tried to tamper with the phone or try to open the case. The case comes complete with a passport for quality assurance and control testing.
“Each component or product that is tested they document in the page,” said Dickson. “The person writes their initials next to it and any notes about it passing or failing or any other comments. It makes its way through each test/person. It then is finally sent with its ‘passport’ from China to Apple.”
