I take it that this is app is only for iPhones that have been jail-broken?

you can get these apps from the app store you dont have to be jailbroken... they also only work with HP printers and maybe some others by now, i myself have an epson printer and have had to download an app from the app store, contact the printer manufacturer and ask them about your printer if its not HP

And I believe a wifi enabled printer is required. Everyone forgot that
