Help with Bluetooth please!

Hello everyone, so I got a new Jeep a few weeks ago and yesterday I linked my iPhone X to the Jeep. Now I’m using the navigation from my phone play through the speakers via Bluetooth. The problem is after I am given say a turn and it plays through the speakers after the direction is given my music on iTunes starts to play. How do I keep my music fro automatically playing?

You should be able to turn the radio off and still have maps work. If not try connecting with your lightning to USB cable, if you have Apple Play on your radio and your iPhone is unlocked it will connect, allow you to select your audio source or turn off audio (music or am/fm etc) and tap the maps icon - voila maps running through your radio and on your radio screen (pretty cool).
