Help please

My Iphone 4 been acting weird here now. My phone will work for a little bit then after I open up Safari or an app my phone will quit all sounds. I don't get no sound for e-mail or text nothing. Then I turn my phone off then on again then it works for a couple of minutes then bam right back to no sounds.

I missed two very important e-mail/text cause of not having the sound work to notify me of text/emails.

Any help on this please.

are you jailbroken? you probably downloaded the wrong thing. I suggest a reset and if that doesn't work a restore.

1- Try going to setting> general> reset> reset all settings.
Restart your device after that and see if that issue is still there. If not solve then
2- connect your phone to your iTunes and just sync something. Whatever you want, maybe a song or a video, whatever, let iTunes do it and don't use the computer on your iphone in the process. When done, restart your phone and see if it helps. If the issue is still there then
3- hard reset by pushing down both home and power buttons for about 12s. If the issue is still there then
4- factory reset the iOS via your iTunes.

That didn't work, verizon is sending me another IPhone 4 Monday.
