Help!! phone stuck on boot logo!

I have a Iphone4. I used evasion to jailbreak it. everything was going well, i tried to download siri. after adding the source it asks me to reboot the device. Ever since then it just stays on the boot logo.

i have tried a few ways to turn on the device, but nothing. Itunes doesn't recognise it, so i cant use my saved back up. I will be getting a new usb just in case. just hoping someone has a fool proof way of fixing the problem.

Is your phone in DFU mode?

I think it is. i hold the lock and home button, after 10 seconds on release the lock button, i keep holding the home button.
