What's new

has anyone else noticed that iPhone charging cable's tend to break near the connecto

Why waste your time there are 3rd party cables I look for either the ribbon cable or braided cable been using them for a couple of years every once in a while I get one that stops working after a few months but at how cheap they are on eBay don't care

Throw away as I did and go to radio shack and get a good that's longer and more durable and works as good as a Apple charger, Believe Me !!

Have you tried separating one end of the spring just enough to slip it over the cord then wind the spring into the cord and slip it up to the connector?
I'll try it that way if I can find another old pen. :)

When you do, make sure you push the spring up the thicker cord part to the base.
