Hack for INTERNAL QI charging?

Is there a hack for making an internal (inside the phone) Qi receiver for the iphone 6?
The systems that use the external card/lightning connection have gotten very inexpensive, but I'd like to install something internally that lets my lightning port remain open (I'm putting in a new battery anyway).

I scoured the usual places (and hours of YouTube videos) but no luck.

There’s no room inside the iPhone to install an internal Qi charger. The logic board would also have to be completely redesigned to make room for the control circuitry. More importantly, the back of the iPhone is metal, which would block any charging current.
