Google Launches Standalone Street View Application

Whether you're browsing for entertainment, or to find the location of a specific shop in town, Google Street View is a fantastic tool all around. On Thursday, the search-engine giant released an all-new and revamped Google Street View application on the App Store.

The new application has a modern user interface, allowing its users to pan around locations 360 degrees by dragging a finger on the screen. The new app also has a new feature where users can upload their own 360-degree photos and share them with the world.

This technology was first seen in Google's Photo Sphere Camera application, which has now been integrated into Street View. The new feature of Street View definitely adds more of a social aspect to the application.

Browsing around the app, it's interesting to see locations at different times from Google's many users. Google's all-new Street View app is now available on the iTunes App Store for free.
