Deleting Groups

I need some help here, I have the 6 and when my mom was ill my family started the group text thing, now i need to get out of it, (all they do is text nonsense, and my phone keeps going off, needs to stop) I really dont want them to know i left, so the question is can i delete myself out of this? they all have iphones except on he lowered himself and went samsung

please any way?

It will depend on whether it's an iMessage group chat or a standard text message. I suspect that the fact that one participant is using a Samsung means that it's text, not iMessage.

If this is the case, you can mute notifications:

Open the group text you want to mute
Tap the Information button in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
Toggle on Do Not Disturb
