Contacts?

Can I save my contacts on the phone or the sim? Looks like they are only saved in "iCLOUD". And if I untick "ALL iCLOUD", all my contacts disappear. With my iPhone 4, I could disable iCLOUD without losing my contacts. It seems to me cloud is the cause of my battery drain.

Cloud isn't doing anything to your battery, but if you want just back up your information in iTunes to this computer. Your contacts will back up there too.
