Hi i am looking at buying an iphone 5 privately , however i dont know what i need to check to insure that it will work ,and if it is able to be jailbroken 9.1.2. If it it doesnt allow use in multiple countries .Could u please indicate what things i need to check before making a purchase to insure its working ...and any advice thanks ps. (I know i need to be sure it has no icloud acct or owner has an acct that signs out of)

9.2.1 can't be jailbroken.
The only software versions you'll be able to jailbreak, are 9.0, 9.0.1 and 9.0.2.
It's not possible to revert to previous software versions, unless they are signed by Apple. The only iOS signed right now, is 9.2.1. This means: if 9.1 or later is installed on the iPhone, it won't be possible to jailbreak it.
