You can't close a thread yourself but a member of staff can.
Which thread are you wanting to close?

Do you mean closing the thread to further replies or deleting it?

We normally leave threads in which the OP's question has been answered undeleted as it could help another member with the same problem in the future.

The only dumb question is the one that never gets asked. We all started out the same, knowing nothing about our new iPhones and asking many questions along the way.
