Cellular data network

I'm on an iPhone5 and all the option I see for data network is 3G I don't see any LTE option in 'cellular data network' what do I need to do to enable this or be able to toggle?

You can't turn on LTE manually, the LTE shows up automatically when the phone detects an LTE signal.

Ok however I don't see 4g when I'm in a 4g area I see either edge or 3G. So how do you solve that?

I did some more research and discovered that if you go to Settings>General>Cellular>Enable LTE, you can switch it on and off. The enable LTE feature isn't visible until you're on LTE service. Before that it says Enable 3G.
