Can you unlock an iphone through a jailbreak app ??

Hey people hope this isn't a stupid question but is there a way of unlocking an iPhone using a app or a tweak or something (so that you can use any sim in the phone such as O2, vodaphone and orange etc) any advice would be very helpful. Thank you

If you have one of the compatible basebands you can unlock with Ultrasn0w(04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, 06.15.00, 01.59.00)

Otherwise if you have an iPhone4 you will have to use a Gevey SIM to unlock.

If you have the iOS5 baseband(04.11.08) there is absolutely no way to unlock right now.
