Calls in log that never happened??

My partner has a iPhone 4 I noticed today 2 calls on different dates to the one number one lasting 17 mins, he denies making them, has anyone ever had this problem

Unless the unknown-3-way phantom call has struck your partner's phone (not the best of names but it works I guess), then it's either a pocket dial, or Bluetooth dial. Make a call to yourself using the phone and on the screen, see if you see your name/number, and "unknown" right below it. It's a bug that's been around for a while, which was fixed on iOS 7 or with one of the later versions of iOS 6
