Browser closes when I try to post in FB group???

This only happens when I try to post in Facebook groups (not just one group): if I post and include a photo, there are no problems, but if I DO NOT include photo or image, there is a few second wait and the browser closes the window and my post is not posted in a group.

Why is this happening?
This is rather irritating

Hi, Anneka, welcome to iPhoneForums!

Force close the app if it's misbehaving: double tap the Home button to show the multitask bar, slide the picture above the app icon towards the top of the screen.

Also try clearing history and website data in Settings - Safari.

Another possibility: reset your iPhone. This won't remove data or change settings. To reset, press and hold Home and Power button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Let go of both. The iPhone will power up on it's own.

Have you tried using the Facebook app? Is this happening there as well? Which software version is installed on your device?
