Audiobooks.com App Gets Upgraded With CarPlay Support

If you’re planning to go on a long drive over the coming weekend then this new update for the Audiobooks.com app might just have come at the right time, as MacRumors reports that full CarPlay integration has just been added to the app, so that you can now listen to audiobooks while driving.

Apparently this means that Audio Books is the first ever dedicated audiobook app to be fully compatible with Apple’s CarPlay system.

And aside from this useful new feature, the app has also had a bit of a makeover, with the introduction of a more minimalist look and feel, some adjustments to the controls and experience of the audioplayer, and a reworking of the Settings page to make it easier for you to find the information that you want as quickly as possible. Book browsing has also been improved, as well as the general user experience for international subscribers.

Audiobooks.com has more than 60,000 audiobooks, and more than 2,500 of those are totally free to download. You can trial the service for free for one month, and then after that month it will cost you $14.95 per month for one audiobook every 30 days.
