Asking siri to remind me of a meeting

Still learning here about my new iphone6.
Thought I would try siri out with reminders. So told siri to remind me of a dental visit at 12:30hrs today but no reminder what did I do wrong??
Where should I have seen the reminder?

She should have responded "OK. I'll remind you."

You will find the reminder in the Reminder app. I've tried adding a reminder, using Siri, and he added something called "Scheduled", with a clock next to it. While my other reminders are coloured, the one set up with Siri is grey.

Depending on your settings, reminders can appear on your lock screen, and it's also possible that you hear a sound when they pop up. Take a look at Settings - Notifications - Reminders, and make sure you have sounds enabled, or a notification you prefer.

Regarding the widgets when I slide my finger from top of screen down should the reminders show up there?.
On the reminders icon it shows a small red circle with no 1 in it is that okay?
Is that how it works,Or should it also show in the widgets.

The reminders you create using Siri can show up in the widgets, if you added them. You can also enable "Reminders" for widgets.

The badge on the Reminders app is okay. It means one reminder is overdue.

Hi dave, the Reminders widget is seen by swiping from left to right, assuming you have the latest operating system.
