At WWDC this year, Apple announced the next big update for Apple Watch software, watchOS 2, to launch later this Fall. Shortly after the prolonged announcement, the company seeded the first beta of watchOS 2 to developers.

On Tuesday, the fruit company seeded watchOS 2 beta 2 to developers with the latest tweaks, stability improvements and bug fixes. While the second beta isn't likely to bring any new features, the new operating system update should make things a bit smoother.

Currently, the only way to get in on the watchOS 2 beta is by being a registered developer in the Apple Dev Center. The current beta and the final build in the Fall includes two new watchfaces, nightstand mode, support for native third-party apps and complications, and more. Developers can download and install watchOS 2 beta 2 through the Watch app on iOS 8.
