Apple's software team is relentlessly working to improve its mobile software for iPhone and iPad users. Recently, Apple has released the first developer beta for iOS 8.1.1, just shortly after issuing OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite beta.

With this new version, the display of blood glucose data has been temporarily disabled for the Health app as Apple works to add compatibility with devices that display the metric in mmol/L. Right now, the Health app does not allow manual input of data using that particular unit of measurement.

As usual, a good number of bug fixes have been issued and the overall performance of the software has been improved. However, some iPhone users are complaining on official support forums that they are still facing WiFi-related problems.
